StrandHotellet is in a very nice location with a nice view of the sea. Because I am a Hotels.Com Gold member, we received a room upgrade. The people helping us were very accomodating. The larger room was available and they were able to offer it to us. A number of very good restaurants within short walking distance. Nice location for driving around the country side. Free parking available was handy. Breakfasts were pretty good. We had a very nice stay.

Kändes gammalt, slitet. Super varmt på rummet och det gick inte att reglera själv, som tur var så hade jag med en egen fläkt. Hårda sängar, ganska ok kuddar. Lyhört och trafik/gående (lätt) precis utanför fönstret. Tyvärr underkänt. Väljer ett annat hotell i framtiden!

Skulle tjäna på att piffas upp lite
Obemannad reception men incheckning och utcheckning fungerade smidigt ändå. Vi hade ett rum med fåtöljer och utsikt mot havet så det var trevligt men hotellet är gammalt och i behov av renovering. Det tog flera minuter innan det slutligen kom varmvatten. Frukosten var acceptabel men de uppvärmda frallorna var kalla i mitten, utbudet av frukostalternativ var begränsat och det fanns endast laktosfri yoghurt. Frukosten serveras mellan kl 8-9 på söndagar vilket kändes lite stressigt. Fördelen är så klart läget, vilket är svårslaget.

Kom vid 19. Såg ingen annan på hotellet under hela vistelsen. Receptionen svarade snabbt i telefonen. Poolen syntes inte till, fast jag letade. Ingen frukost serverades, den fick vi gå till infartsmacken och äta. Tyst och lugnt och mitt i stan, trevligt läge.
