On contacting hotels.com they spent 45 minutes trying to find us alternative accomodation and having failed they hung up and never called us back. Left stranded and getting dark we could only find a place 40 miles away available and had to sort transport to and from ourselves which left us £200 out of pocket let alone a massive inconvenience.
