Needed a room for one night to attend a company Christmas party, this was in the right area at a reasonable price, I was in a hurry and maybe did not look into everything as much as I should have. When we first got out of the truck, my wife and I noticed a slight sewage smell. Went to office to check in and was told that in addition to the remaining amount of the bill, there was also a $200 room deposit. After paying we were told that we had to check in with the concierge to get our parking permit. When we got to the concierge, he asked us what time we wanted to meet with the sales representative for the "tour" of the property that was required to get our $200 deposit back. I turned down the "tour" offer - the $200 deposit was still shown as "pending" a week later (I had filed a protest) - almost two weeks before it was finally removed from my account. When we drove down to our room, the slight sewage smell was considerably worse. There were a few employees taking a break in the parking are that we asked about the smell, they said it was pretty common everytime the landscapers fertilized. The room itself was OK (bed and other furnishings acceptable but well used) but obviously set up more as a timeshare type unit where you would be there for a more extended time period than as a typical hotel room.
Will never stay at this place again, this was my first time dealing with Hilton, always thought they were top-notch hotels, not sure about that anymore.
