"Hotel is modest but overall very good check was fine and breakfast ok only thing I found an issue was the front door was locked which may sound fine but if you didn’t have you key it might be a problem. You were suppose to lock it especially at night and you had to rely on others to do so which was often not the case. There was not often a person at the desk no other issues and still worth the stay "

"The hotel texted us the day we were arriving and told us they made arrangements for us to check into a different hotel. No explanation or apology. The other hotel was not on the beautiful island of Ortigia, but by the train station (not a great area). We were very disappointed. It was also hard to find a contact number for hotels.com to help with the situation. The hotel we sayed at was ok, but not quite the magical vacation we were expecting."
