The apartment would be very difficult to reach when you have a lot of snow. In the immediate vicinity it was very quiet and peaceful and very handy for walks, cycle rides and hiking direct from the house. "We really enjoyed staying in this little flat. It’s a bit out of the cities, but also convenient to both Düsseldorf and Cologne, plus smaller towns. The village of Wermelskirchen is charming and nearby. Easy stop for restaurants, groceries, etc. Everything was very comfortable, the kitchen well supplied, etc. We highly recommend this vacation home. Be aware it’s on the second floor, if you don’t want stairs. Cute and spacious once you get up there, though! "

"Great house, comfortable and spacious with good facilities for a self catering holiday. The house is very centrally located for shops and restaurants. Siegburg is a lovely little town, with nice shops and a good choice of restaurants. There is also woodland and off road paths for dog walking close by. The property manager was very responsive to dealing with a couple of minor problems we had at the beginning of the stay. Overall recommend this property and location. "
