"My husband, myself, my sister and our children ages 6-17 stayed here for a relaxing family weekend. This is actually my secone stay here this year! The location is perfect! Close to amenities but far enough away to get a full camping/outdoors secluded experience! We love to sit by the fire, watch the birds, fish at Finleys landing and walk the beach. The cabin is cozy and rustic and thoroughly stocked with firewood and cooking supplies! Perfect stay for families! "

Had a Murder mystery dinner and the Inn was part of the setting. People in town were friendly with the exception of the brewery. It was handy to have restaurants menus available to review. Kids want to come back."

"We loved our stay! We got holed up with the heat for a few days.. but thank goodness for that game room!!! The only reason I gave one less star on location is that the property is right on the road, and the gameroom is across that road, although the traffic is not bad at all as far as amount of traffic :) - Everything was very clean, and it was so nice to be able to bring our dogs! "The issue I have with this area is the unrelenting train whistle. It is bad enough that the train goes by 200 feet from the front door, and that the entire cabin shakes when it does. It is the train whistle that is deafening, every 30 to 60 minutes, every day, over and over so much so we had to leave to get some relief. The ability to sleep more than 1 hour at any point in the day was not possible due to this. I am not sure why this is not mentioned in the description beyond the basic...
