"This was the start of our trip. My father traced his ancestors back to the area and wanted to see it and see if he could learn any more information. The house was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. We only spent the first two days of our trip here, and we all agreed we could have spent more. We hope to travel back another time from the USA and have a little more time to check things out. When the time comes, we’d love to stay here again."

Die Lage am Ortseingang war ruhig und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge ins Umland. Man benötigt aber schon ein Auto, um zum nächsten Supermarkt oder Restaurant zu gelangen. "Wir haben uns in dem kleinen, sehr gemütlichen und top modernen Häuschen sehr wohl gefühlt. Mitten im typisch ostfriesischen, backsteingeprägten alten Ortskerns des Dorfes Grimersum gelegen, erreicht man in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß den Ortsrand und kann weitläufige Spaziergänge in herrlicher Landschaft unternehmen. Schlüsselübergabe und Kontakt mit Frau Gosselaar war total nett und unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder. "
