"This property was a wonderful surprise. The hotel itself is clean and very comfortable. No running out of hot water when showering. The location is beautiful. It is in a valley that is known for their oranges which feature in the hotel’s restaurant. The food at the restaurant highlights local specialities. Amazing food. Finally, the staff are very helpful and nice. I would not hesitate to return."

We were thoroughly satisfied with the 3 nights at La Vieja Botica: - different daily quality breakfast, locally sourced (not forgetting Tracey's signature marmalede), fresh and tasty; by the olive's wood fireplace - modern and fully furnished room, extremely comfortable bed with an ever important door that opens out (able to continuously air the room is a huge plus) - spot on location for the el saltillo hike - just few steps away from the starting point"

"I have stayed here many times in the past, and, as a solo female traveller it is welcoming, clean, safe, and has a nice restaurant with a terrace. It is not luxury, but perfect for a night or 2. The bed is very comfortable amd there are sachets of toiletries which are complementary. It's owned by a family and the staff are very nice. It's in Maro which is a short taxi ride from bustling Nerja."
