"This hotel was wonderful. Indoor and outdoor onsens for men and women. Beautiful spaces for lounging, a spa, a restaurant available for breakfast and dinner, 7-11 right across the street, great mountain views. Rooms were very large with a full couch, two double beds, a desk, a full kitchen with microwave and stove, ensuite laundry with washer dryer combo. Staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke some English. Overall a very pleasant experience and would definitely book again"

The highlight would be the private onsen on the rooftop where we sat watching the sunrise at 6.30am while enjoying the warmth of the onsen. "This was a smaller ryokan so the onsen required appointments which is nice since you get the whole onsen for your own group or yourself. You might have to get weird hours though. The rooms were Japanese style and spacious but the bathroom was small. Also the bathroom didn't smell very good. There was also a kotatsu which was very cool to see. "

"We really enjoyed our two night stay at this unique and comfortable ryokan. Our hosts are lovely people - all very kind and helpful. The onsen was a very pleasant surprise-I enjoyed the spa experience very much. Our room was large with a separate seating area to relax and look out at the mountain view. We also sat outside on our own deck. We had a quiet and comfortable sleep and we kept the small windows open at night to breathe the fresh mountain air. The area was only a five minute walk away...

"This was my first time staying at a ryokan and it was a great experience! The onsen was nice and the futons were very comfortable. The only thing that made me uncomfortable was that my friends and I seemed to be the only foreigners staying at the time, so we got a lot of curious looks. But the employee who checked us in spoke English, so I'm sure they do get foreign guests rather frequently. Overall, it was a relaxing stay."

"Staff were extremely cordial. Getting to the accommodation via public transport can be a bit of a penance as you can either take a bus or a taxi however i found taking the bus to be the only option as there were limited taxis in the area and waited roughly 10mins to find one. Upon leaving the bus stop you'll find yourself walking up multiple hills to finally reach your destination. I strongly recommend bringing a car. A decent stay overall."
