Apartments in Oura

"Beautiful apartment in a quiet area not far from the strip or the old town. One of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in on holiday 😊, has everything you need, large fridge, washing machine etc. We had an issue with no water on 2 separate days, we contacted the management company who advised that they must be doing works nearby, but upon speaking to one of the maintenance guys onsite they advised the Portuguese government turn down the water pressure at certain times of the day to avoid waste & because we were on the 3rd floor the pressure didn’t reach! Not sure how accurate this was as was lunchtime one day and around 6pm 2 days later, we also had an issue with the shower as would’ve flooding the bathroom unless you reduced the water flow so barely got wet, not ideal but I appreciate that this may have been resolved if we had reported it but we didn’t want to have to wait in on holiday for maintenance people, also the pool was absolutely freezing & the sunbeds weren’t the comfiest but the apartment made up for these details, I would definitely return, the beaches in Albufeira are stunning."

"This was our 3rd stay at Aqua Pedra dos Bicos, it has made some changes this time in the general decor. We found that the bedrooms sadly lack storage, only one drawer plus the bedside tables not conducive to the overall “look” we felt. Reception area was bland plus the staff were hidden behind a very high desk. The breakfast wasn’t up to the usual standard, bacon rather thin and overcooked, whilst we appreciate it is difficult to cater for all tastes just felt we had to give our comments. The staff were always very attentive, even down to the cleaners. We hope to make further visits as the hotel itself generally suits most of our needs. "

"Great stay at 3HB Golden Beach! Reception was very friendly and communicated everything we needed to know. The room was spotless and we enjoyed an early check in and welcome snacks. Although the area outside the property was somewhat rowdy, the property itself was safe and had a family vibe. One large group of rowdy young guests was immediately and respectfully asked by management to tone it down or risk being asked to leave. The bakery in the market next door was a daily favorite for coffee and breakfast. We avoided the strip and spent time at Praia Falésia, Praia Marinha (Seven Valleys Hike), and Old Town;"
