"I will get negatives out of the way first, the listing says this is a working dairy farm however there is just a few cows and one pig. The grandchildren were looking forward to learning and watching milking etc but there was no opportunity to do this. "Plenty of room, beds comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Overall the properties decoration was a little tired but did not detract from the comfort. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean, my mum did find dust in the cupboard in her room but I think most people don't use the cupboards. "Overall, this was a good Gite to spend a week in Normandy. It was well equipped, comfortable for a four person stay, and close to the coast for visits to lovely towns and beaches. "Very French, lovely setting and full of 'antique' toys and charm. A bit of a hike to carry stuff from the car to the property as front gates permanently locked - across the large garden and up stairs. We didn't realise that sheets, quilt cover and towels weren't provided, but fortunately we carry our own lightweight bedding - and Mr Sabatier fetched us towels. Nothing in Angerville-la-Martel, but we were focused on Fecamp and Etretat nearby, so it was fine for 3nights."

"Exactly what you would expect from the description. The owner can't help enough and at the same time leaves you to enjoy your break. While the bed does say futon it does have a very comfortable memory foam mattress and we slept very well often surprised by just how late we were waking up, often close to 10 hours sleep. Dieppe is only a short drive away but there are shops selling al the essentials in walking distance. We stayed for NYE and the weather was mixed but there's still plenty to do and...

"The house is lovely. The welcome and communication from Michael and Marie was amazing. We had a great holiday with the extended family, mostly hanging around the pool and playing games. Bacqueville-en-Caux is very quiet and there's not loads to do on the doorstep but loads a short drive away."

"I had a fantastic 8 days in Étretat staying at the Royal Tennis. Isabelle was there when I arrived and helped me to settle in. The apartment was outfitted like a small efficiency unit with everything I needed. Best of all, it is only a very shot 400m walk to Downtown and far enough away that (except for the herring gulls) it was very quiet at night."
