"House not very welcoming with chairs on table like a closed cafe. Also, bowls and cups had chips and cracks in them and a few not cleaned well. Saying that, host was very responsive and helpful and answered all our questions. Location was great and house was comfortable. You have to pay for parking on all roads but spaces right outside. "This is a very well appointed appartment with a great view and location. Bright, modern and well-equipped it met the needs of three friends of a certain age perfectly. In better weather we would have sat more on the balcony which is a real feature of the appartment. Add a warm welcome by the owner and the charm of Le Crotoy, and we had an excellent stay."

"Lovely clean property in good location. Our teenagers however were forced to share a room as the owner had blocked off the upper floor. Prior to staying I declined the cleaning package in writing, however the owner tried to add it to the bill when we were leaving."

"Despite it being very low season and most of St Valery sur Somme being shut for annual holidays, we had a lovely time. We were aware beforehand that this was the case. We have stayed at this lovey Gite before and it was fabulous then. Situated in the heart of the town it has beautiful views over the bay and is a lovely cosy fisherman’s cottage. Great facilities and beautifully clean. The check in was as easy as always and we hope to stay again. Thank you."

"We had a really good stay and found the accommodation extremely good with the single exception of parking - this is complicated and not free (unless you want a 20 minute walk to your car) but, given how central it is, close to the square, shops and restaurants, this wasn't a problem. There are lots of great walks and a trip on the railway is a must! The owners have prepared a very detailed and comprehensive set of guides, so everyone will find something they like. "We have had a brilliant week at this beautiful villa. The location is perfect, the beach is beautiful and the villa is large and well equipped. The host was very friendly and laid back. Just a note, if you are taking your own bedding the beds are king size doubles not standard doubles and the pillows are square rather than rectangular!! "Excellent hotel, loved having the balcony and making to the seagulls. Room was clean, comfortable and front staff were very kind. My only (small) complaint would be the weak Wi-Fi signal, made doing our touring research a little difficult. Otherwise, thanm b you for the hospitality. "

"Very good value. Our room (standard 2 single beds) was somewhat small, the bathroom quite small, but everything was in good condition, clean, comfy beds. The heating is not turned on yet (as of October 06), if you are not familiar with Europe, I believe they turn it on after a certain date. "

Excellent Hotel

"Hotel was excellent value for the price. Staff spoke english, which really helped as my french is very rusty. Beds were comfy, shower was powerful. Location was excellent, right on the beach front, with plenty of parking out front. Only 10 mins drive away from the ferry port. Only a short 5 min walk to the main town for restaurants, but breakfast was offered. Unfortunately we could not sample breakfast as we had to leave very early for our ferry home. Reception staff were available 24/7. Cannot thank the hotel enough. Definitely want to come back in the summer to enjoy the area more."
