Mountain View Camp in the beautiful Blackfoot Valley of Montana.

Mountain View Camp is Located 52 miles east of Missoula in the small town of Ovando, close to the Bob Marshall Wilderness, Blackfoot River, mountain lakes, Garnett ghost town, hiking, mountain biking trails, fishing, hunting, fresh air and friendly folks. Also, close enough for a day trip to Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake or the historic mining town of Phillipsburg. Ovando has a store, bar, fly shop, museum, church, post office, and miles of scenery. The 34 ft. newly updated 5th wheel has all of the comforts of home with a furnace, airconditioner, and three slide outs that make the space feel roomy. It has a nice kitchen with double sink, refrigerator, gas range with oven, microwave, upper and lower cabinets. The living area is just off of the kitchen and has large windows, updated luxury vinyl/wood flooring, a queen sleeper sofa as well as a leather reclining love seat, electric fireplace, and entertainment center with a tv/dvd player, and cabinets for storage. All of the furniture is new (two years old or newer). There is a seperate bedroom with a queen bed that has a new comfortable mattress, large closet for plenty of storage, and a dresser. The bedroom includes the bathroom vanity and shower with a seperate toilet closet. We have it set up on the back of our property where the mountain and valley views are amazing. Outside you will find an eating and grilling area, as well as a firepit to make smores, and gaze at the endless stars in the night sky. The area is full of adventure and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A perfect place to relax and enjoy life.

Short but beautiful stay.
Very easy checking. Vickie and her husband were super friendly and helped out with showing us around. The property was beautiful and quite. We watched a bald eagle fly around, the horses graze, and a couple of dear graze and one had a tiny baby with it. It was wonderful. The pictures don't do it justice.

I billed this VRBO for a bike race that had 300 participants. The location was less than 1/4 miles from the start line. Everything about this place was outstanding! I would highly recommend it. It’s so much quieter than a hotel and so comfortable

We enjoyed our stay. The camper is very well-maintained and clean, just as pictured. The bed was very comfortable. The view from the porch is lovely! Ovando has everything you could need just a short walk away. We had a delicious breakfast at The Stray Bullet! There were so many mosquitos outside in the evening during our mid-July stay, so come prepared! We did not have ANY cell service through AT&T while we were there. We didn’t expect that, but we were able to use the WiFi at The Stray Bullet to get a message to our folks. Overal a very pleasant stay and just what we wanted!

Already Planning Our Next Trip
My husband and I spent one night away from our young children to attend a wedding, and we were very impressed with our stay. There is a lot of love noticeable throughout the camper given the attention-to-detail, decor, and cleanliness. The views are also absolutely spectacular. We are looking forward to coming again for some fishing.

I stayed here with my fishing partner for a few nights and appreciated this comfortable abode and the warm hospitality of the hosts. The view is spectacular and the accommodations left us wanting for nothing. Comfortable bed, plenty of space, chairs for sitting under the stars. What more do you need?
