Get out of the big city and come experience Oxford...

One of the first homes built in the Village of Oxford, this private upstairs rental unit also has a private entryway. You'll never have to meet the hosts if you don't want to, but we're friendly :)

It has been tastefully renovated with beautiful trim work, tall ceilings, and large rooms. The entire home for most of it's standing was a large single family home, remodeled into a top-down duplex style. So the unit itself is basically it's own home, with 1500+ sq/ft the space feels like it just keeps going and going.

-None of the bedrooms share walls, so there is plenty of privacy within the unit.
-The property comfortably sleeps 6-9 guests.

This is an upstairs apartment in a duplex home. You will have a private entrance accessed by key code.

Your entry is meant to be private with a custom made door code for you and requires no interaction with your hosts at all. Usually our guest interactions happen when leaving the house at the same time or taking out the trash.

We are friendly and happy to meet and chat. We love offering recommendations or whatever help we can during your stay.

Noise: The rental is on M24 and there IS road noise all times of day and night. We now have noise dampening curtains which help significantly. There is also earplugs provided as well as noise machines in the bedrooms if you wish to use them.

AC: As shown in our amenities this rental is air conditioned using portable units. The system we have in place works really well overall. There are now two portable floor units and two window units. During the hottest days of the summer we recommend to keep the blackout curtains closed to keep sunlight out.

Great stay
We were in town for a wedding so had 4 adults and 3 kids with us. The house is very quaint and beautiful. There was plenty of room for us all. We saw deer in the back yard in the morning. It is a great location in downtown Oxford. We walked to the park where there was a live band playing and a lot of towns folk watching, they had several areas for kids including a balloon artist and cotton candy. The adults were able to have margaritas from the local restaurants and drink them in the park. I highly recommend a stay here.

I didn’t need to contact the owners, but I saw them outside briefly and they were very sweet. The space is huge. Plenty of room for a group. Floors are a little creaky, so I tried hard to be quiet in the evenings. A lovely stay overall. Highlight: they had a box fan. I didn’t need it for the climate, but it made an amazing noise maker for sound sleep.

Quaint Victorian near village center
Lovely property. Gracious hosts. Walking distance to all Oxford has to offer. I was visiting family and needed extra space close to my Mom. There are very few option Oxford and this charming property really fit the bill. Next time I’m in town to visit Mom, I’ll hope to stay here again. Happy to recommend!
