This was a very clean and quiet hotel. Staff were polite. Bed was comfortable. Lounge on second floor was lovely to sit in the evening.

Not sure if the hotel was that old, or designed to look and feel old. Hotel asked us to pay a government tax upon checking out which was a surprise for us.

EVERYTHING was excellent. I would especially like to recognize the concierge team. I asked for 8 or 9 restaurant reservations and everything was done extremely well.

The aesthetics of this property is beautiful and has a modern-feel to it. It was well-decorated. The lobby/lounge area is also spacious and the outdoor space was an added bonus, especially in the cool autumn weather. In terms of the location, it was quite far from retail shops and Tokyo attractions, although since it's across the street from a train station, there is a grocery store, a few restaurants and convenient stores within walking distance. One of the convenient stores is located within the hotel so you can access it without exiting the building. The hotel also has a breakfast buffet, offering Japanese and Western dishes, which we enjoyed. Dinner was also available but we didn't dine at the restaurant. The room itself was more spacious than the usual one-bed hotel rooms we stayed at. There were several pillows on the bed which I loved and a nice couch of sorts to sit or lay on. Bathroom was typical Japanese style with the toilet separate from the bathing area. I have to comment that the water pressure was amazing! TV was a smart tv. Our floor had a vending machine for drinks at the end of the hall as well as an ice machine. It was great that it was easily accessible. Customer service was good; no complaints. A fitness room and a washer/dryer were also available.

The hotel is very nice. The room we stayed in could use a bit of an update. The mattresses are not pillow top and could be upgraded. As well, it could use new carpet or flooring. Carpet was worn and a bit dirty, especially for the cost of the rooms.
