"A nice calm, quiet location (except for the neighbour's constantly barking dog) with a great ocean view. Contact with the owners was minimal and only electronic. Unfortunately there were a couple issues that were not shared with us when we arrived...missing keys and a stove that didn't work and at the best was dangerous to use."

"We stayed here because it is close to family and are so glad we did! Very well equipped and comfortable home in a quiet setting. The kitchen is one of the best equipped ones we’ve ever had. Not only are the cooking pots and pans of high quality, but there were lots of condiments and ingredients available too. The furniture is of a nice quality and the house was impeccably clean. "

The code for the house was not in the email we received, when we called the contact number it was out of service. Self check in process was difficult. The inside of the house was beautiful but there were roaches all over the house dead and alive, as well as cockroach feces. The kitchen sink faucet was not secured/glued down so it moved every time you use it. It was a great location for what we needed...

"We’ve stayed at Hulili before but this was our first time in the treehouse. We really enjoyed it! The property is wonderful. The treehouse is definitely a unique layout but it’s very well done. The structure itself is like a tall (vertical/stacked) cabin nestled in the trees. Lots of windows which we left open to let in the breeze; we found the temperature and airflow quite comfortable, especially at night. Note that there is a narrow/twisting set of internal stairs from the second level...

"Everything about this place was good, my grandchildren loved the pool, and it was amazing to sit on the Lanai at night and listen to the coqui frogs and watch the geckos catch insects. Dealing with Suzanne was very easy and efficient and we would definitely go back there again"

"We didn’t spend too much time in the unit—mostly used it as a home base and place to sleep, but it was excellent for our purpose. Clean and well stocked, and the directions/instructions were clear. "Beautiful views and home is appointed as described. There was severe weather resulting in our early departure due to a loss of electrical and plumbing. We were graciously reimbursed for the day we could not stay there. The 3k security deposit was required very early and held for the maximum 14 days after checkout, which I found annoying. The resident host is just lovely and did all she could to accommodate Mother Nature's wrath."

Separate lodging in cottage was a boon to having some down time and accommodating different sleep/rise patterns. "The words "totally awesome" are not even close to adequate to describe this property and the hosts! We were truly honored to be able to stay on this amazing property. Hearing of the vision, planning and hard work that transformed what was a "jungle" at the time of purchase into a place of beauty and peace allows you to appreciate it even more. The hosts were attentive to every need---and I do mean EVERY need. There are many interesting and beautiful places to see within easy driving distance; however, it took a lot of will power to even consider leaving this "little bit of heaven" even if only for a couple of hours. To be able to sit in a lounge chair to search for whales and to swim in the pool and enjoy the dark sky with the twinkling stars cannot be forgotten. We were so blessed to be able to stay in the beautiful Banyan Suite and enjoy delicious breakfasts and beautiful views on the Seahorse Lanai. Many, many thanks to Chad and Jennifer."
