"Our group of friends has been gathering in September for 45 years, first backpacking, now mostly in rentals. Everyone thought this home was lovely - thoroughly cleaned, well maintained, thoughtfully arranged, extremely comfortable, and welcoming. We loved the firepit arrangement in front (echoing many campfires on the trail) and deck/hot tub in back (which we looked forward to, and ended up not getting to). "We were in town for a conference, and this was perfect for our group! Everyone loved having their own room, the beds were comfortable, the fire was cozy, and communication with the owner was excellent! We only wished we had more time at the house and on the beach. It was wonderful; I highly recommend it."

"To clarify scoring: cleanliness was good, there was just a tiny snafu with a couple rooms. The host resolved it quickly and our trip wasn't affected whatsoever. Well appointed kitchen, great space to hang, play games and eat. Wonderful access to the beach for long walks. Beautiful art work! Look forward to staying there again."
