Breathtaking 6 BR log home mountain views with closest location to Wolf Creek!

This- 4000+ SF mountain view home has all the amenities of fine living. From the soaring ceiling, hand hewn logs, granite counters and alder woodwork, with hardwood and slate flooring throughout, this home will provide views 'to die for'. The master and guest bedrooms have queen beds, private bathrooms and HD TVs. The upstairs has two bedrooms , both with Queen sized beds (one is new replacing the bunk beds) . There is now also a baby crib in the guest bedroom downstairs. We have just converted the garage into two more bedrooms (2016), both with queen beds and additional twin beds in the two new bedrooms. The third bedroom downstairs has a queen bed and the crib.
Entertaining family and friends will be easy with a fully appointed gourmet kitchen, fireplaces in Great room and Master bedroom, balconied loft w/ pool table, foosball, and 14 ft. shuffelboard. There is a premier theater room with leather recliners for 12, featuring a 110' HD screen, Blue Ray DVD, and THX surround sound stereo system throughout. We have added a 6-7 person hot tub on the deck, and new larger HD TV's in the living room (85 in.) and in the MB and guest BR. Hiking is all around! In the spring there is some great white water rafting on the Piedra River just west of town. Fishing on the San Juan is just a walk down the hill but for the best sites - check with the fish shops in town. There are two stocked ponds down the hill from the house that only owners and their guests are allowed to use. Hot air balloon rides are sometimes available in the summer. You can rent tubes to go down the San Juan River. If you are a skier, Wolf Creek has the most snow in all of Colorado and is a 17 mile ride up the switchbacks. There is no "ski in - ski out" lodging on the resort so the lift tickets are still reasonable with quad - turbo lifts and plenty of all levels of ski runs. The lift lines are usually very short or non-existent. We have had a number of groups of adults (6 couples) who preferred to not have bunk beds in two of our current bedroom set-ups so we changed to queens with an extra twin in the room for kids to bunk together if that's what works best. We are continuing to update and make our home a great vacation spot for everyone.

Great time had by all.
There were 10 of us and everybody loved the stay. Communicating with Jack was easier thru his cell phone and his quick responses were very much appreciated. The house was perfect for our family, the kids were entertained with the pool table, shuffle board and movie theater. We saw lots of wildlife including a bear, deer, elk, osprey and lots of birds. Pagosa is a fun little town and the area has lots of activities. Overall a fun stay!

Pagosa Springs home
We had contacted Jack a few days before we left Texas to ensure how to access the Pagosa Springs home. Upon arrival we were so excited to see the home was exactly as it had been described on VRBO. Everything was as it was stated in the listing. The location of the home was excellent and the neighborhood was very nice. Due to age ranges of our family the media room was the biggest hit with the younger individuals watching movies sports and playing games. The home was clean and everything worked as it should have. The only recommendation that we have for us but will not for every guest is baby gates would have been nice, however it wasn’t something that we couldn’t take care of ourselves . I would highly recommend a stay at this home for a lifetime of memories to be made and would not hesitate booking this home again. Jack was available at any time however I did not have to communicate with him during our stay because everything was just as expected.

The house and neighborhood is beautiful but the cell service is horrible. The WiFi never worked the whole weekend. I never received information on how to enter the property and had to call the management company to get in. The pictures from the posting are old and there aren’t any bunk beds. The two kids room have a queen bed and twin bed only. The house has a great game and movie room That kept the kids entertained.

The property is a wonderful location, as any older house it has some minor flaws. We had 7 people in our group for our yearly trip, everyone had plenty of room. Great Vacation Home
Great vacation house for the whole family. My wife, two brothers and I loved the house. Plenty of room to stretch our legs and felt like being at home. The pool table, hot tub and theater room are a plus. The house is closely situated to Pagosa Springs and Treasure Falls. The owners are extremly accomadating and helpful. Beautiful home. Would recommend highly to those with discriminating taste!
My wife and family just stayed at this gorgeous log home the first two weeks of June 2010. We generally stay at 4-5 star hotels and found this home of a similiar high standard. It is impeccibly furnished throughout and in beautiful condition. All amenities are available. The owner was very gracious and responsive. The indoor theater is wonderful. WE LOVED OUR STAY.

The cabin was beautiful, perfect size for our family. There wasn't enough towels or any wash cloths, but we made due. Did have to wash a load of towels everyday. The dumpster was full, so we couldn't take out the trash, but all in all it was a great time. Great location for getting to Wolf creek and the hot springs. Had a great time, thank you for letting us stay.

Great Property, A Few Drawbacks
Very large house with a great layout and plenty of community space. The theater room is awesome, great for movies, although there are no streaming options. Make sure you contact the owner well in advance to get check-in information. Only drawbacks were the dishwasher was broken and hot tub was kind of murky/smelly.

Exceptional home, exceptional owners
My family and I stayed this past winter. I just realized I never posted a review, but feel like people should know what a beautiful home this is. Super nice, super comfortable with lots of privacy for large groups! The owners are professional and really take pride in this home. It was quite clear to us that they truly want everyone to have a great time while visiting their home away from home. We had record snow during our stay, and they went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of. Hope they will let us stay again!

Very spacious and accommodating for large groups. Great location for skiing wolf creek or exploring pagosa springs. Pool table and shuffle board were hits. Hot tub was clean and relaxing after long day of skiing. However, property needs a good cleaning. Food in couch cushions, theater room and trash under beds. Extremely dusty, kitchen facet lose and microwave vent needs repair, difficult to cook on stovetop with vent popping out while trying to cook. Dishwasher not bolted in causing it to tip out. WiFi connectivity was very poor. Not sure if location issue or hardware.

Very Nice House
Great house with lots of updates, theater room, new hot tub, many extras, wonderful deck with a beautiful view of the San Juan River Valley. Owner was difficult to get ahold of when minor problems arose. He occasionally returned my text messages. The Wi-Fi is DSL, not cable, probably all that is available. It's enough to run the furnished TVs, but staying connected with cellphones and other personal devices was a real challenge.
