  • We took a 5 day rafting trip down the San Juan. Our second camp site at Hanaker had an amazing hike up the canyon wall to a look out over the river and canyon. Very hot hike, but the views were amazing. If I did this one again, I would probably go in the morning. The raft trip itself is pretty easy, only one Class III rapid. This was a nice place to stay. We did have some problems but nothing that couldn’t be fixed. The lights flickered, the microwave stopped working, it was ice cold inside the condo upon arrival. But it had everything we needed for a nice stay. Beautiful views, a kitchen, tv, beds, lots of space.
