This authentic log cabin was recently remodeled. It is located only a couple of miles from DeSoto State Park, nestled in the woods on a quiet country road. Prepare to relax, unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle. This cabin is Non-Smoking and Pet Free. Cook an entire meal with a fully equipped kitchen or dine in one of the excellent locally-owned restaurants. It has a natural slate tiled shower with rain shower head and handheld sprayer. This cabin has a loft with a queen size bed, as well as a pullout couch with queen bed for additional sleeping in the living room. Sip coffee or tea while relaxing on the glider-rocker located on the private back porch, which overlooks a peaceful forest. Birds, chipmunks, and deer are often seen in the area. Cozy up next to a fire in the fire pit and admire the stars. Finish your day off with a relaxing soak in the hot tub (by the way, the hot tub is emptied and cleaned and filled with fresh water after each guest). Enjoy hiking, sightseeing, and exploring in nearby Historic Mentone, DeSoto State Park, DeSoto Falls, and Little River Canyon. Take in a round of golf at Cloudmont Ski & Golf Resort or go horseback riding through the trails in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. This area has so much to offer. It is truly a hidden gem. All that is missing is you!!

Everything was fantastic! Enjoyed a much needed getaway for a relaxing weekend. We loved seeing the deer in the driveway from the kitchen window. The hot tub was spot on after hiking all afternoon. If not for Monday meetings we would stay an extra day.

My wife and I loved our short stay at this cabin. It was clean, well stocked, and tastefully decorated. Out of all the VRBOs I have stayed at, this one felt the most like home. It’s quaint, quiet, and the perfect place to relax and unwind. Deer walked right across the property. The neighbors rode by and waved at us. The host communicated well and made sure that we had a great visit. The bed was more comfortable than my own. This is a great place for a couple- just the right size.

My girlfriend and I couldn’t have loved it more. It was peaceful and secluded and had everything we needed. Our stay was phenomenal. We arrived about 15 minutes earlier than check in so my husband checked the hot tub and it wasn’t warming so I contacted the owner and he was there within 30 minutes checking it out, only to tell us they drain and clean it after every guest and it might get an air pocket, simple fix and it was working. You don’t get that kind of response in corporate America!!! The cabin was clean & cozy, we tried a lot of the places Nathan recommended for dining and checked out the falls around the area. All in all it was an amazing stay!

A little slice of heaven
Fantastic cabin set in the mountains. Snuck away for a short trip with my wife and we had an amazing time. The decor was perfect, the appliances looked barely used, the hot tub made for a welcome time after hiking all day. Nathan was super helpful and had great communication with us throughout the whole stay. Cant speak highly enough about this home and the welcome time off we were able to spend here. Thank you!
