Tucked away in a peaceful setting, The Linhay offers a quiet retreat far away from the crowds yet is within easy reach of some of Torbay and the South Hams' beaches, towns, villages and attractions.

Tastefully renovated to an exceptional standard, The Linhay is a spacious, contemporary and amply equipped holiday where all the family can enjoy comfort and relaxation. Set over two floors, the cottage has four upstairs bedrooms including a superb master suite with its own shower room and far-reaching views over the rural landscape. There are two additional bathrooms, one with a free-standing bathtub and one with a double shower on the ground floor off the utility room. The huge ground floor kitchen is framed by views of the countryside and a spacious separate dining room lies alongside the living room where you'll find a log burner and doors that lead straight out to the raised decked terrace.

Surrounded by nature, there are stunning views on display from every angle, and with plenty of outdoor space on offer, you can kick back and enjoy time together whether dining in the sunshine, lazing on the lawn or soaking the hours away in the bubbling hot tub. One of three luxury cottages on Higher Yalberton Farm, The Linhay is a hidden gem. Exposed trusses and stone walls are just some of the original features that add to the property's character, with its tasteful furnishings, high-end fittings and enormous interior making it a truly special place for holidays in Devon.

Wonderful Family holiday at the Linhay

We had a wonderful time at the Linhay thanks to the very warm welcome and the excellent accommodation. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and made good use of the bathrobes and towels provided. The outside space was delightful looking down the valley across the old apple orchards. The BBQ went down well and the kitchen was well stocked for family meals. It was very peaceful and we hope to go back again.

Weekend away

Went as a group of mates for a weekend away here, and what a place to stay. Jen and Kev were brilliant and so welcoming. The house itself is amazing, a stunning place to stay with great decor and facilities. It had everything you need for a lovely holiday, the kitchen is well stocked, the house very clean and little things such as the hot tub towels and robes were a brilliant touch. It’s nestled away in the quiet countryside, but only minutes away from shops and other facilities. The views from the garden are gorgeous and the story behind how the created this lovely space is amazing. Would definitely recommend this place, I will definitely consider returning!
