A gem of a place

"Our stay at the yurt was the best experience we could have hoped for. Lisa and Kai are wonderful hosts, very helpful, responsive and accommodating. The place had breathtaking views at sunrise, and in the night you can see the moon and stars from inside the yurt. Just about everything is provided if you plan on cooking/grilling. I'd 10/10 stay here again or recommend to a friend!"

"Having never stayed in a Yurt of grid i was Amazed at how nice it was. I followed the rule of laundry during the day and had no issues. I titled this country because of the chickens and dogs, if you want a quite nights rest this isn't for you. If you are used to dogs barking and roasters crowingfrom 3am on then you'll be fine. I actually Loved it there!!PS, pool had funky ladder to get in and didn't seem worth the risk But that's what the beach is for.!!Again i Loved it and would Highly recommend it to people like me that line their space"

Beautiful relaxing stay with helpful attentive hosts

"What a delightful find for our family of 8! Lots of room for everyone to spread out and relax between the 2 yurts. Beds and furniture were comfy, the interior lighting (esp around the inside top edge of the yurt) gave a cozy feel, and everything was spic and span clean. The deck with picnic table and shade umbrella would have been the idyllic place for us to gather while grilling and enjoying the amazing view and sweet breezes -- if we only would have had just one more night! Mahalo, John and family -- we hope to be seeing you all again soon!!"

Fabulous place with amazing views!

"One of the highlights of our trip to the Big Island was our stay in Naalehu. The house is just fantastic, with 3 good-sized bedrooms and two beautifully appointed bathrooms. The open plan sitting area and kitchen was such a welcoming space compared to most hotels. The decks offer great ocean views. A perfect spot for access to black, green, and white sand beaches at the southernmost point in the United States. "
