"Very nice property with all the facilities we required for an enjoyable family holiday. The pool, hot tub & large garden areas were all well used by all of us. Inside, the property is very spacious with plenty of games/books if required. The bar area with the pool table was the focal point in the evenings with plenty of fun competition to be crowned champion. All in all would certainly recommend for an extended family holiday. "

"We were late arriving but Andy was on site to meet us and we checked in immediately and even managed an evening dip in the pool after a hot few hours travelling. The pool was brilliant. Shallow enough at one end for the youngest child (3yr old) but deep at the other to challenge the older kids. "This is a really lovely, if very quiet place to stay. Many of the restaurants in the region closed in the pandemic so be prepared to cook! Some things in the apartment don't work quite right and the hosts are not very forthcoming with help- but equally they are not intrusive and none of the little problems spoiled our stay."

"We had a brilliant stay at Canal Cottage. The outdoor space is amazing, and Dave and Viv really have thought of everything to make the most of the indoor space. Our boys loved the massive garden, and we all enjoyed the hot tub and eating outdoors. Dave and Viv are very hospitable but in no way intrusive. We would definitely recommend!"

"Check in was fast and easy and the receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful The area around the hotel hasn’t really anything of interest but you can walk to the beach less than 4kms away The room was quiet nice and provided both bottled water and hot drinks"
