a disappointing experience which ended amicably
First off, It wasn,t made clear in the reservation that this is a room in someone,s apartment. The host didn,t seem to be expecting me and then asked for payment even though I had prepaid in mexican pesos through my local bank. I was almost on verge of cancelling the second night but next morning I worked it out with the host. Nothing seemed very clear, not even my offer to pay the room tax in cash. the host turned this down . I had the feeling that he felt cheated in some way. He was not particularly helpful or friendly and it is not a B&B, just a room for the night. I get the impression he is not experienced doing this type of business and is not very welcoming. Perhaps this place is best suited for young students. Not older guests!
