"This is an absolutely fantastic place to stay. It's right on the lake with comfortable places to hang out outside even in Nov when our group of cousins stayed. Two floors with two outside areas running the length of the house; two kitchens - one up, one down. Plenty of things to do without ever leaving the property! Trash and recycling are only a 5 mile drive away and drop off is 24 hrs/day. The host, Ronald, is an excellent communicator; responded quickly to any questions. We all agreed that we would come back any time. It would be a great place to come in warmer months to get more use of the lake but even with cooler temps, it is a great place to gather with friends and family!"

"The house was very clean with lots of extras. Nice towels and linens for bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Hangers in the closets, throw blankets, coffee and snacks. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals and a few restaurants close by if we wanted to go out to eat. Firewood for the fire pit and a gas one on the deck if the weather didn't cooperate. You can barely see other houses through the trees and can sit on the back deck or front porch and watch the birds and deer. With the house on a end road, there was very little traffic passing by. We loved relaxing and just chilling here and will definitely keep it in mind for future trips."

"We did not stay here, the host apparently passed away (according to prior review). Upon realizing from another reviewer that this was the case, I immediately contacted VRBO to have listing removed and get my money back. I was told my reservation was canceled and I’d receive it within a week. Not only did they never cancel it, I haven’t received my refund, and VRBO keeps giving me the run around about when I will even though it’s for a reservation I couldn’t even attempt to use. Pathetic."

"Very nice stay in a nice comfy house. The house has everything you need to enjoy the views of SML! Very nice dock to sit and relax. The just Serena was 5+ star, very helpful and easy to work with. Will most definitely return!!"
