"This place was perfect for a weekend getaway for my husband, our puppy and I. Such a quiet area and despite close neighbors, we felt nice and secluded. The house is well stocked with everything we needed and more. The pond was super fun to take the canoe and kayaks out on and our dog enjoyed jumping off the dock into the water. There’s not too much to do in the surrounding area, so I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to mostly stay put and enjoy the peace. We’d come back again!"

"This July we had a family reunion in Newport with 66 people attending. My large-ish family wanted to stay together and the accommodations in the lodge at Fogg Brook Resort could not have been more perfect. The space was large enough for 10 of us to be together without being on top of each other and the deck space added even more room for us to enjoy. We've recommended Fogg Brook's VRBO space to everyone at our event and will definitely stay there again!"

"Larry hosted us for a week with our dogs while we were on a house-hunting expedition. Larry was a perfect host; very attentive but allowed us our space. The Cabin is very cozy and while there is no kitchen sink, the property details disclose this so we were prepared. It was a wonderful stay!"

"The property was exactly as shown in the pictures. The view of the lake was wonderful morning, noon and night. We appreciated the available kayaks. The host was very accommodating and easy to work with. The only negative comment we have is that the water pressure in the bathroom was very low, especially in the shower. We will stay here agaIn!"

"We loved our stay. The house was great. The lawn by the lake was a great spot to hang out. We ate meals outside and sat around the campfire. The back porch was also a favorite spot to read and drink our coffee and watch the loons. No TV/wifi, but we spent all our time outside or on the porch watching the lake."

"The beach was exactly what I was searching for and made this our winning choice for a family vacation especially for our little kids. It was very quiet and comfortable even though there’s a whole line of cabins along the beach, which I didn’t realize when booking but turned out just fine! The AC didn’t circulate well upstairs but we were brought a fan right away and after that it was perfect. We would absolutely come back!"
