Stay away from any Vacasa Rentals
the beginning of this trip was a awful. First of all, the house isn't that close to the beach. Second, we found a full grown roach and a baby roach. Plus the house just wasn't very clean in general. The bunk beds had dirt on the sheets and what not. The bigger issue here is Vacasa. I hope the owner of this property sees this and fires them from managing this property. When I reached out to them about the bugs and stuff, it took them 3 hours to find a place for us to go. It was now 10pm local time. When we got to the new house, it hadn't been touched since the last person left it. There were drity towels everywhere, the beds weren't made, beard hair all in the sink, stinky trash, and the pool was dirty. I called Vacasa to get more help and after over an hour on the phone, they could not help us until morning. I was forced to get 2 hotel rooms that night. By the time we got settled in, it was after 1AM. The next morning, I finally got ahold of the manager from Vacasa. She did help me. She comped almost half of the total for the week stay and got the house cleaned up. Then, when the pool guy came later in the week, we found out that the pool filter didn't even work and hadn't for MONTHS. Also that everyone was aware of the issue. This was after my family had been in the pool for the first 3 days. The pool water only looked clean because he was putting chemicals in it twice a week. Please just don't use Vacasa.

I would 100% say the property is deceiving from the listing. Very nice pool and outdoor area in the back yard. Could never figure out how to get the pool lights working for nights swims with the kids. Communication with property management was great. They responded quickly but in my 5 day stay I never got an answer about the lights. So that was very disappointing for the kids. Immediately upon entering the house on the first day you could smell the odor of stall/old water. They had damp rid and odor fighter jars everywhere. The bathroom to the left of the house smelled like sour old water and urine. The floors in a lot of areas was sticky and there was old pieces of food in two of the bedrooms swept under the beds and night stands. I know because the little ones pointed it out. Throughout the whole house had sagging spots and warps from it seemed like water damage. Some of the air vents were disgusting to look at. The description said recently remolded but if it was it was done unprofessionally. You could tell from the sink, shower, floor and a few other things that it wasn’t done right. The house has potential but needs to be redone and the water damage needs to be fixed for sure.

We love our stay here. The house had everything we needed in it, Great house and the kids loved the pool. The entry lock was a little hard to get in but we figured how the do it. We were also in walking distant to the beach which was a plus. Over all we really enjoyed our stay.

The property was perfect for our family. Location was close to the beach and any shopping we needed to do. We had everything we needed for the week. The pool, back porch and yard were a plus for the kids. Tara was easy to work with and always responded immediately if we had any questions. Will definitely stay there again.

Great pool, house just ok
The pool is definitely the best part about this property. It is located a bit too far from the beach to comfortably walk. Especially if you have children. And considering trying to walk back from the beach after being there all day and covered in sand and water, it really is too far away to be considered “easy”. We rented a golf cart and that made it perfect- but that’s also a significant expense. The house is a bit small considering how many beds and the number of people it claims to sleep. Also, it wasn’t clear to me that there is no dining room table and our family of six could never eat together. There is just a bar with four chairs. The room with the bunkbeds can really only be for little children. The beds are small and low, and the mattresses are extremely thin. The pool is great, however. It was clean and big enough for our 4 kids, including teenagers, to enjoy for hours. It’s a great respite from the heat of the beach. The living room furniture is not very comfortable and again we could barely all sit there together. The house is located in a questionable part of the neighborhood and some of the neighbors would smoke and yell. overall we did enjoy our stay, but if you were going with children, just be aware having a golf cart or driving to the beach is best. If you can drive, I highly recommend going to a different beach access that is a little less crowded.

We stayed at the Magnolia Crab for just over a week. The home was light and airy, and beautifully decorated. The home was fully stocked with items in the kitchen, including items that look to have been donated by previous guests (soups, vegetables, etc). We definitely added to this bounty when we left! My party consisted of 4 adults and 2 kids. I don't believe the property is sized for so many adults. The second bedroom with a queen bed was very cramped. We could scarcely move around. There was also no dresser, so we had to place our clothes on the shelves in a disorganized manner. I would definitely suggest converting that closet so that it contains usable clothing storage for long-term stays. We also found that there was not adequate seating in the common areas for a party of our size. There is no kitchen table and the island only sat 4, so we were forced to eat separate. The seating in the living room also did not accommodate our party size. It would definitely be a tight fit for parties that utilize all the sleeping space. The backyard was beautiful (with plenty of seating!) Just off the house is table and chairs; but the highlight was the pool and lanai area. I spent every morning on the lanai with my coffee. It is the thing I miss the absolute most! Unfortunately, while we were there, the weather was too cold to use the pool (for everyone except my 6-year-old); though we did walk around in the wading area a bit - just to keep her company. All and all, we had a lovely stay. Early on, there were a few hiccups, but the homeowners resolved them very quickly! I will definitely look to stay here again, but only with my husband and children. The grandparents will have to stay elsewhere!

We fell in love with the Laguna Beach area several years ago. This house was perfect for our family of 6. Literally everything you could possibly need was at the house. While the house is a little small, they utilized the space very well. We had 5 adults a teenager and a toddler with no issues. It's a short 8 minute walk to the beach and close enough to all the shops and entertainment without all the congestion and noise. Pool and backyard was awesome!

Great little place
The house was just what we were looking for. It fit the 6 of us with no issues, the kids had their own space and the home is completely renovated. Kitchen was excellent and had everything we needed. Highlight is for sure the outdoor space. The pool is perfect as well as the gazebo and deck space. The house had plenty of Beach toys, floats, chairs and a handy wagon to get it all to the Beach. The walk to the beach is a little further than it appears so I would say only small negative was in the heat walking wasn't ideal. However, the house is very close to public access in 2 places and never once did we have a hard time parking and finding a spot. Over all super pleased and would for sure stay again in the future.

Spring break with little kids
My mom, husband, and two kids (boys ages 3 & 5) stayed at the house. We had a great time, and the property was just what we needed. My boys loved the pool, and we spent most afternoons after nap time at the pool. We had a few issues at check-in, but Tara quickly took care of them! I am very pregnant, so my husband drove me to the beach every day (there are a few parking spots at beach access 82). The beach was never super crowded, which was great considering it was spring break week, and the beaches towards seaside were packed. My mom did walk with the boys every morning, and it wasn’t a bad walk (it’s nice and flat). Tara’s beach wagon was perfect! My mom and 5 year old rode bikes to Thomas’ Donuts most morning, which was a highlight for everyone. We would definitely rent Tara’s house again! Few notes: at the time of our rental, the ice maker wasn’t working, so plan to buy some ice with your groceries. Along with your bath towels and wash cloths, be sure to bring bath mats and hand towels as well.

Tara was amazing! We so enjoyed our stay and was ready to go back as soon as we left. This was perfect walking distance of the beach. It was Comfortable, Spacious and beautiful. It was great for our family of 8 and we plan on returning next year. The freezer wasn't freezing and Tara got someone out to fix it very fast. We enjoyed our stay. It was a great vacation blessing for us.
