Gulf Front Cottage with Beach Access In Private Gated Community

Reverse Living Floor plan provides gulf front views from the open concept kitchen, dining and family room. The vaulted ceilings upstairs enhances the space and feeling of openness. Enjoy unobstructed Gulf views from a huge covered balcony (the empty lot between the house and the beach is vacant which we own it as well with no plans to build till 2028). The kitchen is perfect for the hosting your friends and family. Relax and get away from it all in a the huge master downstairs with its private bath. The Kids will love their own get away in a private bunk room with a private bath. If you have a few little ones, or if you just needs some privacy for reading, an additional room is available off the master. This cozy spot has a daybed with trundle and room for a stow away crib. The house is equipped with a private outdoor shower and the direct beach access is less than steps away. Beach chairs and an umbrella are set up daily by La Dolce Via who also rents bikes, paddle boards, Kayaks and can arrange a Bonfire on the beach for you. Unlike crowded beach towns on 30A, Carillon Beach has a private entry with 24 hour security. You can let your kids explore on their own and feel safe, yet you are less than 3 miles from Rosemary Beach. The closest pool is less than a block away - see the map in the photo section. Although the listing shows no cancelations, I will work with you to move your dates. You can rent a golf cart from Coastal Cars and Carts (www.coastalcc.net). Please note Carillon beach charges a $35 access and parking fee per automobile which is collected when you download the link to get your QR code for automated entry into the community.

Perfect location

“Slice of Heaven” is just that!
Wonderful stay at this beautiful little coastal cottage!! The house was perfect and location couldn’t be better!! We rented a golf cart for evening rides, trips to the pools and the resort restaurants. Reserved beach chairs and umbrella right out front of property. Owner was very communicative and helpful! Perfect getaway!

Great Family Vacation
This was our first official family vacation with our 4 year old and 1 year old, who had his birthday while at the beach. Such an awesome trip. The house was perfect for us. We lounged on the beach, cooked all of our meals, and just relaxed - never put on real clothes!!! My kind of vacation. Thank you for letting us stay!

Very nice cottage. Excellent location. Good weather, beautiful beach, and charming neighborhood. There were several stray cats in the area, and the top bunk was very hard to get in and out of. Other than that, I’d stay here again!

The house was not as advertised
The house was dirty; the cable wasn’t working for the first 4 days of our stay; there was mildew on the upstairs ceiling; white woodwork/doors/cabinetry badly chipped. The entry/lower level, where the beds and both bathrooms were located, had no windows that opened so lack of fresh air was an issue— it was cold and damp. Cabinet doors were warped, drawers wouldn’t close. Disappointing….

Nice location and views
This house has amazing views and a great location. The house needs some work. The pocket doors don’t lock or shut all the way. We were staying with our teenagers and they wanted their privacy. Their door would not lock or stay shut. Cabinets throughout are chipped and worn. The bedrooms are very close together and small. There was no privacy. It may have been listed in the write up of the house but I don’t think I had a true sense of how small a carriage house was. Master shower head had some issues but we figured out a way to make it work. The view and location are 5 out of 5. This is what you are paying for.

Great place but problems
Pros: Amazing community Great pools GORGEOUS beach views and perfect beach access Nice decor Cons: Heater was not balanced - bedrooms downstairs were freezing and upstairs was boiling hot Sliding doors were warped and difficult to open and close - lots of wear Bedrooms smelled like mildew Washing machine did not work properly - spin cycle wasn't functioning and laundry had to be hung to dry all over unit Sheets on master bed were torn Overall, this is a beautiful community and a reasonably priced rental. With that said, however, there were several deal breakers 1. temperature control in 40 degree winter weather, and 2. a broken laundry room. At ANY price point, these should be basics. I did have AWESOME communication with the owner, but never heard from the property manager, to whom he deferred me. We would definitely stay in the community again, but are not sure we would stay in this rental.

Carillon Beach House
Beautiful house with nice views of the beach. There is a vacant lot with overgrown bushes directly in front of the house so the house is not directly on the beach front. The walkover to the beach is next to the house. The cushions on the front and back decks were very old, (the purchase tag from one of the cushions was so old, the words were not visible and the tag was frayed) soiled, and not clean at all. Not what I expected for what we paid for the week. Throw cushions on sofas had a bad odor. There are two nice bedrooms , built-in bunkbeds and a king bed. The 3rd bedroom appeared to be a glassed-in porch with a trundle bed and barely room to walk. It is not a full bedroom with maybe a 10”x10” table. There is only one closest in the house which is also a storage room. The positives were the upstairs area, large windows and a nice kitchen. The negatives were lack of closet space and soiled deck cushions.

This was our 2nd time to stay at A Slice of Heaven and everything was great. We love being able to see the Ocean from the balcony and having easy access to beach. The owner / property manager responded quickly and communication was great . Highly recommend
