The lady(apperaed to be from the Caribbean) at check in was very friendly and nice. The room was pretty clean and a decent size room(I believe that not all rooms are the same). I liked that the room had laminate floors vs carpet; easier to clean and doesn't smell/keep critters. I was staying for a week work training, so I was looking for a place that had a fridge and microwave to keep eating out to a minimum. You are not going to mistake this for the Hilton. But for the price point, I was satisfied with what I got. Some of the complaints I read prior to booking, I can understand. For some reason, a garbage truck comes at 5-6a to empty the dumpster for an adjacent property. There are families living there due to FEMA hurricane displacement. I would not go for a family stroll through the adjacent area at night. I felt safe enough inside the building and I made sure to empty my vehicle at night not to tempt any break ins. But if you are looking for a cheap room that has a mini fridge, microwave, a hot shower and is centrally located to most places/things(20-30min drive to the beach due to poor traffic patterns/drivers); this is a decent choice.

The staff were great. I couldn't figure out how to work the shower. The hair dryer look like if you used it one more it was going to catch fire. Only one set of towels in a two person room.

The lady that checked us in was awesome but the guy that was there at night was so rude and mean. We were waiting on our son so we could go out and eat and the clerk told us to get out of lobby and i said we were guest and he replied he didnt give a damn who we were. Terrible mean guy that needs to learn some customer service skills.

At checking in, we were ignored. Two different people knocked on our door long before checkout time asking if we're leaving and how soon! The room was dirty, the TV was on from previous guests, there were crumbs left behind on tables and hot tub in the room, the room smelled like a musty basement, there was black mold on the bottom of the shower curtain in the bathroom. We paid extra for "breakfast" and hot nothing but a banana and a waffle. Save your money, stay somewhere else

Refund request because of mold
Check in was blissful and is the reason I gave two stars. We checked in shortly after our wedding to await a flight. The suit we booked with the hot tub had a strong odor of mold but after driving long distance we slept with resistance. The next morning I called front desk to voice my concerns the young lady spoke kind and stated she would try to move us which she did once looking at the room initially it smelled strong of a fragrance spray and the mold could not be detected in this room. After a few minutes we exited the room and once we returned we realized this room also had a major mold smell and visible mold coming from the ac unit that took my breath as I attempted to sleep this similar experience happened a year ago when we purchased a suit there. I was assured the issue would be fixed and it was not. Paint was thrown over mold and it’s in the air
