We arrived at 8:30 having reserved a premium room with an ocean view. We were told the room would not be ready until after 3pm. Unfortunately, we were in Tahiti on a Sunday and the whole Island is closed. We saw many people getting their rooms as early as 1:30. We were the last to get our room at 3:30. They kept promising us a room shortly but really did not deliver giving lower quality room away before us. There were man problems with that room. The bed was as hard as a board. There was no shower but a free standing bathtub that rocked when you stepped in it. The tub was slippery and dangerous. It was not secured to the floor. The blow dryer did not work. We were missing many towels requesting more and they were never delivered. There was noise from the rooftop bar above. We wrote a complaint to the general manager and requested money back for our troubles. We never heard from him. They don’t care about your issues. Don’t stay here.

Creative downtown hotel for those looking to be located in town rather than a resort. Check in was very chaotic due to stampede of folks off a cruise ship in the early morning and were told no rooms were available before 3pm so their cafe was like grand central all day. We went to get our room at 3pm and were told we would be called by a staff member when it was ready. We were never called but on returning to the desk we got our room a little before 4pm. We are also shocked to be charged $100 to store bags fo four days until our return in 4 days. That was a hotel first! Bathroom light did not work and was never fixed during our two day stay. On the positive great roof top bar, no problems with noise very good but expensive cafe. Great.contemporary design. Most staff charming and attentive despite being overwhelmed, very comfortable bed and great kitchenette in our room. Area immediately around is seedy not necessarily dangerous. All said we would and are going back

Modern little gem downtown. Rooftop bar is the spot to be for sunset cocktails. Easy walking to ferry, market, and restaurants. Coffee shop has nice breakfast and lunch options. They will store your luggage and call cabs for you. So much better than the Tahiti Airport Hotel, where we also stayed a night. Highly recommend if you have some time in Papeete and are doing the resort thing elsewhere.

The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, and the air conditioning was much appreciated. Convenient location right across from the ferry terminal and blocks from the market. Would stay again on future visits!

LOUD thumping music ALL night. It did not stop until 5AM. The hotel is beautiful. Sad that I had to rate so low. We stayed here because of convenience to the ferry. If you want rest, stay elsewhere.

My ONLY complaint was that we had already paid the city / local tax (we even could show them the receipt that said "local tax") and they still charged us per occupant when we were leaving, holding our over $1000US deposit until we complied. Blackmail at it's best. It's only 4$ a person, but it's the principal of the matter, it's been paid, we can show it on our expedia receipt, and I don't like being threatened with "then we will charge you the deposit for not paying" Total utter BS. Other stays have said upfront if there is a charge, and we've paid it no issue, but when it's THE SAME NAME as what we can show we've already paid - NO.
