Peaceful Detached Villa, Private Pool, Overlooking Olive Groves/Nature Reserve

Villa Panigale - if you want a peaceful place to relax and get away from it all, this is it! Located in Psathi, a small village in the foothills of the Troodos Mountains. A large 600 square metre plot featuring a private pool (not overlooked) and overlooking a nature reserve. Wi-Fi, English TV &movie channels and air-conditioning are included. Although a peaceful location there is much to see and do and it's all within easy reach too. The village of Polemi is 1 mile away and has supermarkets and taverna/restaurants. You can buy fine wine from local vineyards, try out the great local walks, and it's only a 20 minute drive to Paphos where both culture and entertainment are combined - shops, bars, restaurants, beaches, archaeological treasures and nightlife! If walking is your thing there are many local walks and coastal walks, in fact there's a folder at the villa that we put together to detail some of them. The villa is also only 5 minutes from Tsada championship standard Golf course, and 20 minutes from Coral Bay - a blue flag standard and the best natural beach in Cyprus. For the adventurous, you may want to take a short flight to neighbouring Egypt, or a 2 day cruise from Limassol to Cairo, the Pyramids, the tomb of King Tutankhamen and the River Nile.

We had a great holiday. Fantastic weather, great pool to cool down in , very private, not overlooked at all. Next door neighbour, ex Brit, so friendly and helpful. All in all a very lovely time had by 3 0f us. Vill had all you need.

Heaven on earth!
Reluctant to write a good review in case it's poularity means we never get to rent it. What can we say? Amazing villa with everything you need and even a free standing fan provided at my request. Nothing too.much trouble. Beautiful views even after the wildfires. Peaceful. Great neighbours in villa number 3 and 5. Well maintained and John and Sue cared well for the villa. John is maticulous cleaning the pool, especially after the fires. Bed is so comfy. Great fridge freezer. Parasols and sunbeds but the best thing of all....the outdoor shower! Can't wait to return. The owner is so pleasant and was fantastic in hetting the villa sorted for us and moving our dates a week so we didnt lose out on our holiday. Top class service. Thank you John!

The property provided all the comforts my family and I needed. A beautiful view of the valley every morning along with a pool to cool ourselves down. Easy drive to many locations around the pathos and avakas region, loved it.

A very late decision to take a holiday this year. Cyprus is our go to destination and for a short relaxing break this property was perfect. But you will need a hire car. Great location for what we wanted peace and quiet while relaxing round the pool.

Great location
Was a little difficult to find initially as the sign was missing from the roadside, once found it was a very nice property. Pool was fantastic and everything you might need was on hand including a a welcome pack. Polemi village was a few minutes drive and had two very well stocked mini markets. Overall it was a fantastic break and would highly recommend

Perfect Relaxing Holiday
This is our second year staying here and we had another fabulous 2 weeks. Nice and quiet (although not when my boys were in the pool!), lovely views and not too far from the local amenities. The villa is very clean and spacious and the air con comes in very handy, especially at night.

The whole experience was painless, & the owner very communicative & happy to help. A fabulous villa in a glorious setting. A real home from home, we couldn't have asked for more. If you desire total isolation & peace, then this is for you! Be aware though, a car is an absolute necessity, which we were quite happy with. A glorious holiday, thank you!

The villa was beautiful, views were absolutely stunning, so quiet and peaceful. The locals were very friendly, everywhere we went and every meal out we had, all positive reviews, no bad experiences anywhere. An excellent rental for a relaxing two weeks!
We stayed for the first two weeks in October 2018. First impressions were excellent - a spotlessly clean and well maintained rental and it did not disappoint! It is in a good location for day trips to the mountains and the sea coast - we loved the walks in the mountains and tried some different ones over the holidays - the most beautiful was in the woodlands of Paphos forest - perfect for walks and picnics. We tried some coastal walks as well and the fine views from the Adonis trail looking over the Akamas Peninsula - followed by lunch and cakes in the Kivotis Art Cafe in Polis which served very very tasty local dishes and cakes- but open only for lunch until about 3. The big supermarket in Polis was also very useful for a large shop. The weather was in the high 20s C for our visit with some thunderstorms in the second week. The pool was a special treat after returning from walks and we stocked up on wine from some of the local vineyards - we highly recommend a visit, tasting and purchase from Vasilikon vineyards - just 15 mins away and they produce very fine wines at a good price. We really want to return next Spring - when the flowers are out in the mountains - but we can see the rental is already booking out - lots of return visitors I think! Anne-Marie & Noel

Great holiday
We had a wonderful two weeks at this Psathi holiday home. The villa was well equipped with everything that you would need. If you are looking for a “peaceful” holiday with wonderful views then this one is perfect. Mike was in the pool every day. The local shops (minimarts) in the village have everything especially local produce such as eggs, fruit, bread and tomatoes that are rustic huge and SOOO tasty. The red wine is excellent both for taste and value (4 Euros for the best!) we got through a bottle every evening. This villa is highly recommendable. Thanks John for letting us stay. Un séjour idéal !
La villa est parfaitement conforme à la description et aux photos. Un peu éloignée de la mer (30 à 40 minutes environ), mais on profite ainsi de calme, et la piscine est parfaite pour se rafraîchir. Et les montagnes sont assez proches également. Si je devais retourner à Chypre, je retournerais très probablement à cet en droit :)

Great house at beautiful location
This is a lovely house to stay in. Fully equipped with all amenities. The area is very quiet, with many birds. From the house you can walk straight into the valley. The house is also an excellent base for (Rother) hikes. The owner is very friendly and helpful; communication with him is very smooth.
