"We were welcomed to the Hotel Umbria by the proprietor who was absolutely charming. He offered us a chilled bottle of water for our room on arrival and also parked the car. "The story of this amazing home goes back to the 1500. Many beautiful details at the same time sad to see the grounds are not looked after. Even winter grounds could be magnificent with proper care. The building itself needs lots of maintenance and the rooms need some updating, but the experience was great. We met beautiful people and that was priceless. The breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff were extremely nice. Happy New Year, Happy 2025"
