Satisfactory overall

Fairly comfortable rooms, friendly staff. The corridors can be a biut noisy though. Well located not far from many restaurants. For French standards, I would rank it as a good two-star hotel rather than a three-star hotel

Budget-friendly hotel

The place is within walking distance of the metro, which is really a plus point. The building and the room have seen better days, but I cannot complain with the price I paid. If you are a traveller and just want somewhere to sleep after a long day of sightseeing in Paris, then this is a budget-friendly hotel. There are towels and toiletries. The bedding seems clean. The pillow is just like a throw pillow and not a proper rectangular shape, but it's fine. There were some policemen around when we visited, but it did not affect our visit. The reception people are also polite and does not mind speaking in English.
