Otherwise, Jonker Walk and other historical places are located within 3 km radius. The only gripe is that the sound proofing is poor. Noise along the corridor and next room is clearly audible. "It was clean, safe, and right by the coach parking so you don’t need a grab to get to your Singapore coach. There was 7-eleven nearby. The historical places and Melaka river were in a walkable distance (around 15 mins). There are a few shopping malls nearby. "We spent 4 nights here. Room was clean and cleaning service was sound. Sheets and towels can be upgraded as there were minor wear and tear - most likely related to the age of the establishment. Bottled water can also be improved as it taste weird so we went for mineral water from the local supermarket. Super convenient location and walkable to all the main venues as a tourist in Melaka. "

"Staff is very helpful, The Nest House provides coffee, tea, noodles at a counter in the lobby. At first look, it doesn’t seem to have a lot to see around but we were wrong. In fact, you can walk to the old Dutch and Chinese quarters and shop all the way in huge shopping centers. Don’t hesitate to feed in local restaurants ! We add one more night at the hotel to visit."

"I recently stayed at The Pines Melaka for 4 days and 3 nights. The hotel is conveniently located just a short drive to and from Jonker Street, making it easy to explore the area. We stayed on the 27th floor, and our room offered a beautiful view. However, we were woken up at 5/6 am each morning by the loud chanting from the nearby mosque, which was quite disruptive.
