"I’ve stayed in several hotels in Rio, but Rede Andrade was disappointing. Linens, towels were really old, with stains barely having holes on them. Toilet paper was really poor quality too - I had to buy new ones for me. Hotel doesn’t have good TV reception. When there was one, the image and sound was pretty bad. My room was also noisy and black out curtains didn’t really block the sun. Although the hotel staff was great and was always friendly and helpful, I probably wouldn’t stay there again."

"I find housekeeping was very bare minimum, they only changed the shower towels didn’t bother changing the face towels and it took me forever to get an iron to steam my clothes. When I did receive the iron it was hot as if they were waiting on someone else to finish using it. "

"Good location. Walking distance to a few supermarkets. About 2 minutes walk to a really nice beach. On a bus route. Breakfast was a nice selection of hot and cold and opened at 6:00 until 10:00. Be aware the bottled water in the room is not free. Construction meant there were some disruptions. Also, the slow-close doors need to be adjusted to avoid the disruptive slamming that occurs at late and early hours. "

"I really loved this hotel and came back twice because the hotel is so nice with lots of extra services. The stuff like bag storage and beach towels were an added touch. As well, the rooms had lots of twin sized beds, which the Western countries can learn from. As well as a bidet! These are luxuries in North America and seemed pretty standard. Front desk also spoke some English which was very helpful. Breakfast was also really amazing, plenty of options and variety. "
