"Great location for exploring the area. Lovely huge old Spanish style casona with a lot of character. Good breakfast but a bit skimpy. Room was spacious and had a lovely view of the river, but bed was a bit on the small side and the shower curtain needs changing. Mat and table need replacing in living area of the room. Owner had an attitude when we asked to pay with a large bill as that was all we had, so bring small bills if paying cash."

"Estancia muy agradable con un bonito paseo por el campo a lo largo del rio. Cangas hasta a 45 minutos a pie y seis minutos en coche. La casa tiene un gran jardin que está genial para que los chicos juegen con la pelota y para cenar fuera."

"This is a lovely house with wonderful views, the garden is pleasant, full of birds which enjoyed the stale bread that we put out. The neighboring cat also enjoys the visitors food. The owner speaks good English and is helpful.The negatives were the arbitrary parking, the access road is very narrow and we had a problem with the septic tank being full causing a bad smell in the cottage. The owner did manage to get the tank emptied, so I guess we were just a bit unlucky."
