Quaint & Perfectly Appointed
We will be back! This adorable home is perfect for 2 couples. Amenities are in abundance & top of the line. There is ample space for enjoying quiet time or shared meals, relaxation & chat. We really enjoyed coffee on the porch watching the wee ones play at the school across the street or the deer that munched on grass in the evenings. The neighborhood is very cute & quiet. Looking at booking again soon!

Was OK
It was hot in Paso while we were there and A/C is not in both bedrooms. There is a ceiling fan in that bedroom but no A/C We had to leave the bedroom door open to the kitchen to try to get some cool air into the bedroom at night. This was not very efficient from a cooling standpoint much less from a privacy standpoint. This was not comfortable for the people sleeping in that bedroom. We also had ants in the other bedroom. I called about this and they told me spray the Raid which was under the kitchen sink. That’s what I did and didn’t see any more ants. There is no oven in the house - only a cooktop. There’s a convection microwave but unfortunately, the display was not working and we could not operate it. They brought us another microwave right away but it only worked about 30 seconds before it stopped working. Then, pretty quickly, they brought us another microwave which worked fine.

The property is beautiful and a short distance from downtown Paso Robles. The property manager was extremely professional and followed up with us as we were traveling to Paso Robles and even stopped by and met with the other couple we were sharing the property with. Checking in was super easy and the property was just as described. I went with a friend, so we had plenty of room and having two separate bathrooms was great. Would absolutely stay again next time I come to town for the great winerys.

Great location, great property
We have stayed in quite a few VRBO properties with our dogs, and this cottage was by far the best ever. It was beautifully appointed, with everything one might need, spotlessly clean, and we especially enjoyed having the fenced yard so the dogs could watch the world go by from the front porch. We look forward to future visits to this, or another of Steve and Dawn's properties.

Wonderful home!!
This was the perfect place for our stay. The house itself was very pretty, super clean, and comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen, super nice beds and we each had a great bathroom to ourselves. Outdoor space was very nice and we enjoyed the porch with a glass of local wine. Neighborhood also very nice and walkable and even the restaurant district downtown was within a nice walking distance. Will for sure stay here again in the future!

WIne country wonderful!
Really enjoyed our stay at the Cuercus Cottage. The communication with Steve was exceptional. One minor issue that was immediately handled. A very short walk to the newer Paso Marketplace and just a bit longer to the town square which made many restaurants and other little shots easy to get to. The cottage was very clean and exactly as pictured. On a pretty quiet street and across the street from a school but traffic to and from the school is on the opposite side so it was never an issue. Easy driving distance to many exceptional wineries. Its a great location to enjoy the town and the wineries. If you are a walker there are plenty of quiet streets and hills to tackle. We saw deer almost every morning. As advertised it does have a very nice front porch. Sat out and enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine/cocktails in the evening. I highly recommend the Quercas Cottage!

This was my third time to rent this property, so obviously I love it! It is absolutely perfect for two couples with two kings bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The kitchen is well appointed. The house is a quick walking distance to downtown for dinner and to many coffee spots. The neighborhood is quiet and great for a morning walk. I’m sure we will be back!

Great place for us and our dogs!
We really enjoyed this house and so did our dogs. Plenty of room both inside and out with a nice sized porch. There is an A/C unit in the main living room and also in the bedroom, was very comfortable temperature wise since it was 100°+ outside. Easy and short walk to town with plenty of little shops and cafes to hang out at. Wineries were all less than 10-15 minute drive away very convenient! Host also had maps and brochures out to help! The yard is fenced in and a good size for the dogs to run around, the one thing is that it’s mostly gravel, dirt, and bushes so they would get pretty dusty and dirty after running around so we would have to clean them off before coming inside. There is a bbq in the yard that we used as well. Host was helpful and responsive.
