This property very close to town center you have a massive hill to climb or you can uber up. The heart of reef shuttles are not good for endeavor location if you are over 50 as they don’t stop at your unit you have to bring your own bags up . I’m 72 and if it wasn’t for someone who watched me struggle I wouldn’t have made it up .

Toscana village was absolutely wonderful. The views from each apartment are amazing and it's only a few minutes walk from shops and restaurants. It is located on a steep hill but anyone fit would have no trouble at all. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and well maintained.

Quiet, small, unique resort. Food excellent and quite reasonably priced. Staff really pleasant and attentive. Resort looking a little tired in places. The cost of transport to and from the island can become quite expensive if you want to leave the island for a day trip. Beware also if you’re travelling in from the airport on a shuttle bus. Our flight was late and we nearly missed the last boat connection of the day, very stressful. My advice is stay at Airlie Beach first and do trips to the reef, scenic flights etc from there then travel and stay on the island without leaving for a few days. Also if you’re looking for a party this place is definitely not for you. Everything closed at 9/9.15, this wasn’t an issue for us but for others it could be. Pool area relaxing. Seeing the wallabies and yellow crested cockatoos roaming free was lovely.
