"A fascinating property with a history. Fabulous views of the chateau from the bedroom windows and from the courtyard. Right in the centre of Saumur, but had a large heated indoor swimming pool. The extra treat was the pool table and pinball machine. It was easy enough to reverse the cars into the courtyard with practice. It was lovely and convenient for restaurants, the chateau and the bakery. Gilles, our host was at the end of a phone if we needed him. Nicole the housekeeper made us welcome...

Localité proche de nombreuses visites à faire absolument ( abbaye royale de Fontevraud, le cadre noir, le château de saumur, Brézé… La gestionnaire sur place était très réactive et toujours bienveillante. "Owners/hosts made us very welcome and on hand to help when required. Cottage was ideal for what we were looking for - self contained, quiet, private, secure parking and great base for cycling both sides of the Loire and very quiet back roads. Very large garden space front and back was a bonus. All made it an excellent weeks stay. "

"Super propriété. Cependant pas de piscine , pas de bain a remous, pas d étang , chemin fermé par une barrière avec cadenas donc pas possible de l emprunté. Babyfoot en très mauvais état.... Certes la maison est très spacieuse.avec une literie au top . la description nous avez fait rêver.mais nous restons très déçu par tout ces manques."

"Well equipped beautiful cottage in the Loire countryside. Very Clean. Owners are very welcoming and friendly and have a vineyard 1/2 an hour away - worth the trip and the tasting. The house is close to Saumur which is lovely and has lots to see and do, including nice restaurants and is well located for visiting some famous historical sites like Chinon and Fontavraud Abbey. a very relaxing break."
