" The City Mill hotel is a beautiful hotel along the river walk. The mill renovations are wonderful. My room had a view of the river and it was great.The service: front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast area people were helpful, approachable, and kind. The restaurant was conveniently located. The dinner meal I ordered was delicious. The free continental breakfast from the hotel was a pleasant addition. I can't remember when I enjoyed a hotel stay this much!!!"

"The night desk clerk was just the best! I was in town for my son’s Turning Green ceremony at Ft. Moore. Tbh there aren’t a lot of nice places to stay within 15 minutes of the base. I highly recommend staying here. I felt very safe while I was there even though it feels a little isolated at night. The parking lot is monitored and very well lit. The hotel is close to base and, contrary to what you might hear, your new soldier is allowed to stay in Alabama. They just aren’t allowed to be farther...
