"This place is a hidden gem. It is brand new on the east side of Penida island which is pretty remote. Takes a while to get here but once you are here it is golden. Best waitress ever is Jesika, a real sweetheart. In many places this facility would be 1K plus US per night. For the price it is awesome and close to some great hiking and hidden beaches. "Not what it used to be !! We stayed at this place after having such a lovely experience previously. However, this stay was very disappointing. We opted for upsell to the 5 BR villa on check-in which looked lovely in the pictures, but were stuck with a villa that stunk of sewerage the whole time! "The experience from start to finish was amazing and totally faultless. From the team at the villa to the grounds and villa itself everything was so beautiful and very well though out!! The food cooked fresh everyday for us was delicious and healthy and presented and served so elegantly. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone interested in staying in Gili Gede. "This was the best hotel we have ever stayed at!!!! We have stayed at some of the best hotels around the world and Tampah Hills blows them all out of the water! From the moment you arrive at your villa you’re welcomed by the friendliest staff. They will go out of their way to accommodate any needs you may have, and will truly do everything in their power to make you feel at home. You’ll have a WhatsApp number to contact if there is anything you may want, and they will literally meet almost any request you may have. For example, we requested a romantic dinner on our pool deck in our villa the day of and they drove all the way to the main town on Lombok, 2 hours away, to buy flowers for the setup and make sure everything was perfect! We thought this was a one and done hotel but it is well worth the extra effort of going to Lombok and we will be making this a standard trip of ours now! Our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer! Thank you so much for everything! "

"Best of Lombok accommodation so far!! Our garden view room was set amongst tropical flowers and birdlife, spacious and clean. The ocean view villas just in front were stunning with individual tiny pools and loungers facing the ocean, but we loved our private and beautiful room one row behind (no.15). My favourite was the outdoor private shower, with flowers and birds. The staff were excellent, food the best on our trip to Lombok We enjoyed snorkelling at the Three Secret Gilis, lots of fish and a turtle, but if we’d had more time would have definitely spent the extra for a trip to a better snorkelling spot as suggested by our guide. "
