"We loved this little house on the lake while we were in the Detroits Lakes area hiking in 3 of the MN State Parks. The size and location of the house was perfect for us, and the furnishings were warm and inviting. From chilled bottled water in the refrigerator, to a sweet hadwritten note from the owners with the gift of a grilling mat, we felt like we were cared for as "family". "We came for a girls weekend. The property had beds for all seven of us. The lake is beautiful and clean. The house had everything we need. The bar and kitchen well stocked. "The property was peaceful. Lots of birds flittering about. If you like to fish, especially for bass this is a great place. Every 2 hour trip I took out I caught 10-15 bass. All 3.5+ pounds. The largest was over 5 and I had multiple that size. The location of the fire pit right by the lake was a perfect end to the days. Will definitely be booking again. There are some minor spruce up repairs to be made but communication with the host indicated they plan to do those this year. "

"I invited several of my friends from out of state to come experience a true Minnesota Lake Weekend, and this place ended up being great for it. Check in was easy. The backyard is fantastic, and we had a fire in the fire ring on the beach nearly every night.
