Charming cottage for a couple 3 km far from Saint Valery-sur-Somme and all amenities (supermarkets, food shops, large Sunday market ...).

Go by bike (2 bikes loaned - free of charge) to discover the Grand Site classified "Baie de Somme". “La Chambalière” offers immediate access to a number of tourism activities: hiking and cycling (the Gravelot circuit passes by its door), a few minutes from Pointe du Hourdel (seal watching) and the beach of Cayeux-sur-Mer and, of course, Saint Valery with its medieval town and the Courtgain (sailors' quarter) ...

La Chambalière is an old farmhouse completely renovated to offer all modern comfort while preserving the charm of the past: bricks, beams, fireplace, parquet, mezzanine ... small enclosed and flowered garden with lighted terrace, plancha, private parking space.

Equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, etc.) with bar open to the living room - sofa - armchair - large screen TV - Blu-ray player - fireplace - Wi-Fi Internet access.

Bedroom with 160x200 bed - walk-in shower room with hairdryer and heating - separate WC.

Mezzanine with sofa-bed (sleeping 90x190).

The decoration is neat, the old-style furniture has been restyled to bring it up to date. In permanent exhibition, the paintings of Christian, painter, brighten up the walls.

A la découverte de la baie de Somme
Nous avons passé une belle semaine à la Chambalière. Le gîte est confortable, bien équipé et calme, dans un village tout près des pistes cyclables et ... des phoques! La propriétaire est soucieuse du confort de ses hôtes et très disponible pendant le séjour si besoin est. Une adresse que je recommande.

Charmant et accueillant.
Une semaine globalement très positive. Le logement est bien conçu pour 2 personnes. C'est charmant et accueillant. Tout est fonctionnel et adapté. L'électroménager est de bonne qualité, la literie confortable, le jardinet très mignon. La propriétaire est très sympathique et disponible. Elle permet de connaître un peu les bons endroits dès l'arrivée. C'est utile quand on ne vient que quelques jours. Les seuls bémols pour nous ont été les dimensions des toilettes (il ne faut pas être trop "costaud" sinon il faut être souple :-) ) et la localisation en bord de route. Un peu de bruit donc mais à relativiser... nous vivons dans une impasse sans aucun bruit dans notre village. A noter : accueil chaleureux de nos chiens pourtant pas de petite taille. Bref : merci pour cette bonne semaine. MAISSSSS : NE PASSEZ PAS PAR ABRITEL qui prend une commission de 15 % soit 100 euros pour une location en théorie à un peu plus de 500 euros sans frais avec d'autres partenaires. Nous nous sommes faits avoir sur ce point. Allez sur d'autres plateformes de locations.

Schöner Urlaub bei netten Gastgebern!
Das Haus ist zwar klein, aber sehr schön eingerichtet und durchaus ausreichend für 2 Personen. Hier kann man sich sehr gut erholen, da es in einem kleinen ruigen Ort liegt. Die beiden Besitzer wohnen direkt nebenan und sind sehr hilfsbereit. Ich habe selten so sympatische Menschen kennengelernt. Vielen Dank an Valerie und Christian!!!
