"Family & friends stayed as they were overflow from my house for birthday celebration.Everybody loved proximity to beach & teenagers spent lots of time on beach & swimming. It was great to be able to have larger group in one house instead of spread around several homes."

"It's hard to describe the style of this new(ish) build which actually looks quite old. Gothic, European? Who knows. It's quite different to anything we've stayed in before. Lovely outlook and very peaceful and surrounded by trees - isolated but not too far from Sheffield. Our first reaction was how dark it was inside but once the blinds were fully lifted things improved although still not as light as we normally like and we found the lounge area quite solidly furnished - no fripperies or...

"My father and I came for a little get away to the north coast, and found Claire’s place to be super comfortable, beautifully renovated, and well stocked. It was also perfect for penguin watching on the beach which was an easy walking distance away! As I am a sensitive sleeper, I did find it a little difficult to get to sleep the first night due to traffic sounds/light. For me that was the only low point!"

"We didn’t receive the automatic email of the lock box to check in but the hosts answered our call straight away and were apologetic and gave us the code . The rooms were as pictured and clean, out the back was a vacant block of land for sale that our children ran in which gave them some extra space. The house was opposite the beach but there was a train track you needed to cross to get to it so not as close as expected. Short walk to the town for young children and old people. "
