"The house is spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. It is a stand-alone house on a big block with a beautiful garden. The location is excellent, only a short stroll to bakeries. Cafes, restaurants and a brewery. Highly recommended. "

"We arrived to a very nice heated house which was spotless and very welcoming. Once unpack the owner , Terry , arrived to great us and make sure very thing was ok. Very friendly and helpful owner. The house has beach front views and is very roomy with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It is a 5 minute walk to the shops which has an IGA , bakery, coffeehouse, information shop ,several restaurants and a pub. We had a meal at the pub , great atmosphere and food. Penguin is a great location for day trips to Stanley and the north west part of Tasmania. It is a 30 minute drive to Devonport to catch the Spirit of Tasmania. The owner ,Terry , made our last 4 days in Tasmania perfect with not only his charming house but also his friendly nature. Will be coming back to stay at “ sunrise at penguin “ again Thank you Terry "
