"We had a wonderful time in Nelson. The house was great for us as a family and we greatly enjoyed taking our Labrador to Back Beach most days. Owner Mike was wonderful - welcoming and so knowledgeable about perfect places to take both the Grandkids and the dog. Property views are wonderful however would suggest since it is on a hill, a car is essential. "

"Lovely clean house, superbly kitted out. Great location whether travelling into or out of town. Great well-equipped kitchen. Outdoor relaxation area including the spa was excellent. Very comfortable beds. Communication with host was easy. Would highly recommend. "

"The owner was very friendly, showed us grapevines they had grown outside the room and invited us to take some grapes with us when we left (very tasty). There was a lot of road noise until after dark as we were just off a main road, but the property was nice and well appointed. I booked online and apparently the room with 2 beds did not translate well but they immediately made up an extra bed for me, no trouble. Did not try the pool but it was open"

The home was rxtremely clean and had a very well stocked kitchen (dishes, pots and pans, serving bowls, utensils) for preparing meals. We used the kayaks and loved it. "Exceptional property with exceptional views!! The foods left in fridge for breakfast were also excellent. Our only criticism was that the bathroom was downstairs from our room and my husband had to navigate the stairs in the middle of the night. Communication was great and Gabriele that showed us around was lovely. We would highly recommend this accommodation!!"
