"Very charming lodge, the rooms were clean. We had a great view. Enjoyed the pool. Unfortunately their elevator was out of service so we diffidently got our steps in. While we were checking in the lady helping us was lovely and in the middle of booking our dinner reservation a fellow co worker rudely interrupted her told us we could make our own because the lady helping us had to take call. Left us feeling rushed. Not very professional "

"This was one of our most enjoyable places we have stayed. The pics on the site dont show how cozy the cabins really are. Very nice place to stay. Watching the tide enter and exit the river,the stripped bass breaking the surface. Very nice view. The hosts there are absolutely amazing!!! Very friendy and accommodating. There is also basic necessities at the office to purchase.also kayak and canoe rentals. A must go to place. We are definately going back!! "

"This is a very unique old Inn with lots of history. The new owners are enthusiastic and welcoming. We had a great room with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom looks like it has been upgraded recently and was very clean. They served a very nice full breakfast and were accommodating to different dietary needs. The Inn is situated close to Fort Anne and an easy walk to anywhere downtown. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Annapolis Royal."
