"Has a very homely feel. I am biased though as we were upgraded to a suite which was fabulous. Breakfast was included which was also excellent and to top it off there was tomato juice!!! This is a rarity in most hotels but much appreciated by us. All in all, a lovely stay and hopefully next time it will be warm enough to use the pool."

"This hotel is in an excellent location, halfway between the Perth airport and Perth city. Great public transport options. The check-in lobby is spacious and functional. The staff there were very helpful and accommodating. The complex was easy to get to our room. The room was spacious and clean. Great view from the large window. "The room, car park and dining were all easily accessible and good. The bathroom was a bit irritating - shower curtain that flaps onto one when showering, basin too small. But there was hot water and good towels. The whole hotel was very quiet, we wondered why it was so empty? Unfortunately the pool was inaccessible, something about not having a permit to open it."

"The Criterion has seen better days. They are renovating it, but not quickly. The rooms are plain and have some wear and tear to them. However, it is clean, there is a refrigerator, the water was hot and the pressure was good, it is on a quiet street, the staff are there 24 hrs a day (although there is no housekeeping on the weekends), and it is convenient to everything.
