The space:
From the street enter through the gate, then front courtyard with dining table, enter into the lounge room and down past the laundry with toilet and washing machine into the kitchen.
The kitchen is clean and presentable with fridge, dishwasher, microwave, 5 ring gas burner and electric oven. Continue through sliding doors to the outdoor courtyard with BBQ and outdoor setting. The back gate accesses the secure carpark and general utility area. A (1) secure under cover carpark is available for use.
Hardwood floors. Two queen bedrooms are at each end of the house with a bathroom (shower, toilet and hand basin) in between. The front bedroom has a balcony with deck chair overlooking the front courtyard.
The top floor is open-plan, of reasonable size and with 2 stackable single beds that can be made up as a double if desired.
The front main bedroom and lounge have reverse-cycle (hot and cold) air-con and the other bedrooms have pedestal fans.

Other things to note:
- Pets are not allowed.
- The property is spread over 5 levels, with many exposed staircases, and is not suitable for small children.

Perfect location for a Fremantle weekend stay
Cute little townhouse in the perfect location in Fremantle. Within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, cafes, Freo markets and other attractions. A little noisy on Saturday nights with passing traffic and pedestrians, but very peaceful at other times. All facilities and amenities that you would require are provided. Great for couples and friends, would be ok for families with older children. Nice courtyards at the front and rear of the property to sit and have a drink and a chat. We really enjoyed our long weekend stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a centrally located property.

Another great stay!
Second time staying at The Norfolk Retreat...a few doors along this time. Everything about the location was perfect...the shops, bars, ferry to Rotto and beaches were all within easy reach, but just off the centre enough to be tranquil. The house itself was equipped with all that we needed and although it was super hot for most of our stay, the fans managed to keep upstairs coolish...just! Beth was super easy to communicate with and very kindly allowed us a late checkout when our flight was changed. Thanks for the choc & wine too. Will definitely be our first choice when we next visit Freo...
