"This is a nice, classic hostel. There are a lot of different public spaces here to hangout, including a very nice rooftop sitting area. The kitchen here was well-equipped, easy to use, and readily accessible. I had a private bedroom with bath, which was good. The room needed a chair, however. Very good overall."

"A budget hotel near the Plaza de Armes. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Decent free breakfast. Reasonably quiet. Showers were cool, not sure if we were doing something wrong as we didn’t check with the staff. Overall if your standards are ok with just the basics for a low price then this is good value for your $."

"Truly recommend to stay at Chaullay Salkantay Hostel during your Salkantay trek. The place has exceeded our expectations (especially after other lodges during the trek). The rooms are a great standard and provide real comfort, they are clean with towels and soaps. We had a room with a private bathroom which was clean, convenient and with an amazing shower (all you wish for during the trek!). "This place is not for tourists, it's house with rooms in it. You can't walk from town. There are lots of street dogs, no proper road. It's next to the highway on the other side of Paracas, which is far from tourist areas. I left after checking in."

"Do NOT trust the shuttle service offered via Jhonny on WhatsApp!!! Cause 14 of us to miss our flights - we were told 2 vans would be able to pick us up in the morning, but no one showed up. Cost the group over $1500 USD in re-booking fees and had to spend 16 hours waiting in the airport for the next flight."
